The Virtual Scavengers Project is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Since its founding in 1997, it has become the model national program for handling "e-waste," the astonishing volume of unwanted computers and related technology in this country. It has also has the distinguishment of having a blended mission that addresses both environmental (...nothing goes into the landfill) and social (...bridging the technology gap...one donation at a time)charitable issues under one umbrella.
