H.O.M.E. is a nonprofit organization committed to preserving the independence and dignity of low-income elderly in Chicago through a variety of housing and support services. H.O.M.E. owns and manages buildings that are dedicated to the concept of intergenerational living: elderly residents and people of other ages live together in a way that supports the elderly persons connection to the larger community. Programs offered by H.O.M.E. include the only free citywide moving and furniture donation program free shopping transportation services
