NTF has participated in 17 research initiatives including a study on the Profile and Economic Impacts of Visitors to Norfolk, the 2020 Regional Branding Initiative, and Visitor Spending Trends.

To continue the positive growth of the tourism industry in Norfolk and the 757 the NTF has awarded over $49,000 in scholarships to students at Norfolk Public High Schools, universities and colleges in Norfolk, and to associates in the tourism industry seeking career advancement opportunities.
