Our Head Start and Early Head Start programs offer free comprehensive services for pregnant mothers to children age 5 years in Hughes, Stanley, Sully, Hyde and Jones Counties. Weekly home visiting is offered to pregnant women and children 0-3years in 5 counties & there are Half-Day preschool classes in Hughes County and Half-Day classroom in Jones County. Hughes County also has 2 Full-Day preschool classrooms. Our qualified staff provide educational information on child development, health and safety, nutrition, mental health, and building family partnerships to help prepare children and families for success in school and life.
