Beyond the Crisis, is a charitable non-profit organization based out of the MetroWest region which collects and donates non-perishable food items to underprivileged housing communities and homeless shelters in Massachusetts. It was started last year in 2020. However, it is expanding rapidly as we are receiving partnerships and sponsorships. We are currently looking to bring on a volunteer management staff. Most of this volunteer work can be done virtually from the comfort of your home. Most of these positions are Virtual/Remote so you can do it anywhere! To qualify you will need to get an acceptance letter from the Executive Director, after you complete the written application, get interviewed, and have a background check. To qualify you must also be a Massachusetts resident, have a license, possess a vehicle, be an exceptional communicator, know how to send and receive emails, and be able to attend three to four Zoom meetings per week. You will work closely with the Executive Director and the Director Assistant to help run this organization. You will receive a 1,000 dollar stipend for this volunteering position at the end of each year if operations run smoothly. You will also be in touch with the Blog Writer, Newspaper Writer, Newsletter Writer, and Media Coordinator who may ask for pictures to post on the website.
