N/A UPC was founded to challenge the distorted images of under-represented communities by mainstream media. Our mission is to extend the opportunities in Media Arts to include youth from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds living in the Metro Richmond area. Our focus is offer culturally relavant theme-based projects that require students to use higher analytical thinking skills and a full range of creative Media Arts software. UPC supports existing technology programs that empower youth with the digital tools to create innovative content in the media.
