A wellspring of faith for a diverse people in the heart of the city. Old First aims to tackle issues of homelessness and hunger by running a season shelter under the direction of the Bethesda Project and a weekly food and clothing cupboard sustained entirely by individual donations and volunteer hours. In addition Old First hosts a work camp program for groups who are interested in learning about and being exposed to social justice issues prevalent in the city.
