The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation is a non-profit organization. We are dedicated to giving equine athletes good homes and humane treatment after their racing careers have ended. TRF has developed programs with youth centers and correctional facilities to teach their residents about the care of these majestic animals. Three of the farms TRF runs are adjacent to these facilities,and their programs have been very successful. TRF also sponsors a horse adoption program.
