Volunteer Information:

Flexible Volunteer opportunity available with the YMCA READS! program at a Lakeland elementary school.Teach basic reading skills,or listen to and help a child with reading aloud,help with reading activities/games, or do fun, creative projects. Flexible schedules: M-TH 3:00-4:00,and/or 4:00-5:00; one hour a month to 12 hours a week. No-cost Background screening and training required. Get involved-Make an impact! Help a struggling child!

Donation Information:

YMCA READS! also accepts donations of children's books (new or gently used), office supplies, i.e. paper, pencils, erasers, and craft supplies. YMCA READS! also accepts donations of gift cards and raffle/reward items. The YMCA is a Tax-Exempt, not for profit organization.
