The goal of the Northwest Renewable Energy Festival is to inform and educate energy consumers about renewable energy...its sources and how it can be harnassed for both large and small scale energy production. The festival will enable consumers to see how they can take advantage of and benefit from emerging technologies. Concern for our nation's dependence on foreign gas and oil-global temperature increases-greenhouse gas emissions-and demand for electricity is growing every day. By informing ourselves of the benefits of energy conservation and renewable energy we can learn practical ways of making significant changes in the world!
