RMHC operates four care programs that support the well-being of children: 1.RMHC's of NVA and DC provide temporary lodging primarily for seriously ill children and their families while receiving treatment in or visiting a hospital or similar treatment facility. 2.Family Room at Children's National Medical Center: Provides rest for families of serious ill children within the hospital setting. 3.Grants Outreach Program: by making contributions and grants to organizations organized and operated exclusively for charitable or educational purposes and which engage in whole or part in (I) educating children or (II) providing for the essential needs of children. 4.Care Mobile: Offers free medical care to children of DC. (in partnership with Georgetown University Hospital)
