IC 21 promotes learning and action in schools and communities around the USA about critical world concerns. We aim to help people think globally and act locally and provide opportunities to engage in solving issues critical to the 21st century. Our current program is focused around creating opportunities for learning and action in the following subject clusters: * Promotion of human rights peace and democracy * Teaching about the United Nations system and global issues * Intercultural Learning * Sustainability Education and preservation of World Heritage Sites As the coordinator of the US chapter of UNESCO's Associated Schools Project network we work "on the ground" with schools
