312.750-0733 The Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women's Network is the coalition of over 100 domestic violence service providers (including organizations and individuals) throughout Cook County. The Battered Women's Network works to improve the lives of battered women and their children with three strategies: 1) leading efforts to inform and shape public policy; 2) coordinating members and hosting committees for collaboration and action; and 3) offering basic and specialized trainings to increase and improve the knowledge and skills of domestic violence workers and allied professionals through our Centralized Training Institute. The Battered Women's Network also administers the city of Chicago Domestic Violence Help Line through a professional services contract.
