Renewing America Through Senior Service. Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides numerous volunteer opportunities for people 55+ to serve their community. One program RSVP sponsors is America Reads which is a literacy program that focuses on reading tutoring for elementary students. Some of the other opportunites available though RSVP range from police work to sewing to volunteering in museums. RSVP provides outlets for seniors to use their life skills and their passions to make their community better.
