Mission The Infinity Initiative is a nonprofit social venture that seeks to equip and empower female youth in under-served areas while enhancing their quality of life. Our core components highlight and promote the importance of becoming the catalyst of change necessary to make a perpetual impact on oneself and one’s environment. Company Overview The Infinity Initiative is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit social venture, that inspires female youth in under-served areas. Through positive youth development programs and "girl-tailored" events we help to enhance their quality of life! Description As a network of skilled, positive leaders, in conjunction with families, schools and community services, The Infinity Initiative offers programs, supports and services for underserved female youth. Founded on the principles of 1 Peter 2:9, The Infinity Initiative aspires to become a model and supporter of positive, female-oriented organizations; achieving its mission by facilitating programs tha...t result in: -Identity: discovering a young lady’s “essential self”; establishing personal goals, while putting her distinct characteristics on display -Inspiration: encouraging and nurturing young ladies toward meeting their personal goals; outlining the importance of service to her community -Innovation: introducing young ladies to a new way of thinking, living and being. The Infinity Initiative also offers fiscal sponsorship (See our information at the Fiscal Sponsorship Directory website.) Volunteer Information: We periodically seek volunteers to facilitate our annual programming in Baton Rouge & New Orleans, La. and Fulton County, Georgia. Annual projects include our antiDrama Healthy Relationships Campaign, Strong and Virtuous Youth (SaVY) Health & Wellness Tour. We are seeking volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors for 2013-14 (no experience is required, but, passion, dedication to our mission & commitment to improving the quality of life for our participants is A MUST.) Can you make a donation? The Infinity Initiative needs donations. Donation Information: Our donation needs vary based on our events & programs; please contact us for details about our present needs. We are looking for an experienced grantwriter and/or development officer to assist with funding research, grant applications & management.
