Welcome to Ruth's House! Please explore to learn more about us! Ruth's House is a transitional home for homeless women in recovery from their addictions. Mission Purpose: Reflecting Waters, a non-denominational, faith-based organization, will help willing individuals who are in need of assistance in their recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol. Mission: Reflecting Waters will provide a compassionate environment where addicted individuals can rebuild their lives. Vision: Beginning with the creation of a structured 6-month residential program, Reflecting Waters challenges individuals to become progressively free from addiction to drugs and alcohol. Staff and residents journey in community to become all God created them to be. (currently a 9-12 month program) Company Overview Reflecting Waters, Inc. is a faith based, non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals in their recovery from their addiction to drugs or alcohol. Ruth's House, a transitional residence for homeless addicted women, is the first initiative of Reflecting Waters, Inc. Ruth's House is funded by churches, individuals, organizations, and businesses in the Greater Evansville area. Description At Ruth's House, residents are guided and assisted in their recovery from their addictions to drugs or alcohol. Our ladies receive individual and group therapy and intensive case manangement, work on their recovery skills, attend AA or NA meetings, learn life skills, become employed, and learn to manage money in a loving, supportive, safe environment. General Information CORE VALUES The life of every man and woman is precious, and his or her journey is to be lived with purpose. The work we do should honor God; therefore in our ministry and in our lives we must seek God’s guidance. Volunteer Information: We need volunteers to help us get ready for winter. We need a pressure washer to clean our siding, the bushes and gardens need to be cleaned up one more time before winter. If you can help with donations they can be sent to PO Box 3323 Evansville, IN 47732. If you have items such as clothing or house hold goods, paper products or gifts that could be given at Christmas please contact Amanda @812-455-2007. We take no government Funding, it is only through all of you that we can keeping helping are ladies regain what addition has taken from them.
