TCH has been, "Creating opportunities for individuals with special needs", since 1967. Services include group homes, transportation, day programs, home and community based services and employment services. TCH owns and operates social enterprises ike confidential document shredding, that also provides jobs and job training for individuals with special needs. Volunteer Information: TCH Volunteer Opportunities These opportunities are for parents, individuals, small groups, and businesses Update Group Homes with curtains, etc to make them a home Adopt a home for a year to celebrate holidays Landscaping at main office Painting, landscaping, light maintenance at Group Homes Quarterly “deep” cleaning of group homes (i.e. kitchens, bathrooms, etc) Make and install shelves for storage at Group Homes Fundraising Clean/Wash vehicles Provide a special birthday celebration for those individuals with no family Office Support Aide in a classroom at the DTA Companion/Mentor Retired Professional – using professional skills and knowledge Supply drives (kitchen items, office supplies, art/craft supplies, etc) Can you make a donation? The Centers for Habilitation/TCH needs donations. Donation Information: Make a difference to people with special needs and reduce your Arizona State Income tax! You can make a gift of either $200 as an individual or $400 as a couple to TCH and, at the same time, reduce your tax bill to the State of Arizona by that amount! It’s easy and you can make a big difference to the clients of TCH at the same time. Here’s how: TCH qualifies as an eligible charity to whom contributions may be made and the donor receives a direct credit (not a deduction) to their Arizona State Income tax at the time they file their taxes. In order to qualify, your donations must be received by TCH no later than December 31, 2012. (NOTE: Businesses are not eligible for this tax credit).
