AIHC is a state licensed community clinic serving the urban native American population of Los Angeles and Orange Counties, CA. AIHC serves as a primary care "medical home" to more than 2,000 low income, uninsured individuals, 70% of whom are American Indians. AIHC receives no federal or state support of any kind , rather we rely upon private foundations, corporations, individual donors and Indian tribes for the financial resources to carry out our mission of providing high quality, culturally appropriate and competent medical care to America's first citizens. Volunteer Information: Volunteer opportunities are always welcome. We utilize volunteers in a number of areas including health education, community outreach, advocacy as well as fund development and clerical needs. Can you make a donation? American Indian Healing Center needs donations. Donation Information: AIHC's most immediate needs are the financial resources to purchase prescription medications and medical supplies used to treat our uninsured patients. We provide a limited number of prescription medications at no additional cost to our patients.
