The Arc’s vision is that every individual and family affected by intellectual disability in the Treasure Valley has access to the information, advocacy, and skills they need to participate as active citizens of our democracy and active members in our community. We work to ensure that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families have the supports they need to live a fulfilling life

Volunteer Information:
Volunteer opportunities are abundant at The Arc. Anyone can volunteer and we invite parents, students, professionals and anyone else who like to get involved to share some of their time with individuals with disabilities. There are many ways that you can help out! These are just a few examples of the types of volunteer opportunities available:
• Social and recreational activities
• Teaching classes such as art, sign language, exercise and crafts
• Landscaping/yard work
• Office/administrative work
• Fundraising

Can you make a donation? The Arc, Inc. needs donations. Donation Information:
The Arc receives most of its donations through our donation center. These donations from individuals like you are The Arc’s primary funding source, and to fund subsidized programs and services offered to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Donation Center reaches out to over 40,000 telephone numbers each week seeking donations. Donation pick-ups are made throughout southwestern and eastern Idaho. We also have donation drop off boxes located in the Treasure Valley. The Arc has a partnership with Savers Thrift store that provides revenue for the items we provide them. This revenue in turn, goes back into funding all the services we offer to people with intellectual and developmental disablities.

As you do your spring-cleaning, please keep The Arc in mind! We appreciate all donations and couldn't do what we do without the generous donations from individuals all around Idaho.
